Turkish President's spokesperson, İbrahim Kalın, said that Ankara would not impose sanctions on Russia.
He also added that Turkey did not intend to be a party to the conflict.
"At the moment we do not have a plan of anti-Russian sanctions. First of all, of course, we do not want to be put forward as a party to the conflict," he said in an interview with NTV.
Kalın stressed that Ankara does not want to undermine the economy of the republic because of this.
