The construction of Turkey's first nuclear power plant at Akkuyu, which is to be built according to a Russian project, has been ordered to be hastened, the head of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, Ali Riza Alaboyun stated.
"The Russian side expressed its intention to continue the implementation of joint projects with Turkey. It is necessary to implement the project on the construction of the NPP more quickly,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
