Another 1,000 hectares of Azerbaijan cleared of mines

The National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) issued its weekly update on demining activities across Azerbaijan's liberated areas.

The report covered operations carried out by the agency's units between February 16 and 22.

According to the data, 1,600 hectares were successfully cleared of explosive ordnance.

During the operations, demining teams discovered and demined 175 antipersonnel mines, 28 antitank mines, and 796 unexploded ordnance items.
