As a result of the Armenian provocation on the contact line between the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, an Azerbaijani serviceman was wounded, the press service of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry said Feb. 1, Trend reports.
On Feb. 1, the Armenian military units again violated the ceasefire on the contact line using automatic firearms and grenade launchers, according to the Defense Ministry.
“While preventing the enemy’s provocation, Azerbaijani Armed Forces Sergeant Rauf Isayev was wounded as a result of shelling by the Armenian side,” said the Defense Ministry.
He received emergency medical aid. Currently, Isayev’s condition is stable and there is no threat to his life.
