Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at a meeting with representatives of the Iranian healthcare sector's knowledge-based companies that the Arak reactor will be modernized in collaboration with two members of the P5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members and Germany).
Iran will be required to redesign and rebuild their heavy-water reactor at Arak. The reactor will be limited to the production of radioisotopes for medical and industrial purposes and peaceful nuclear research, Rouhani stressed.
