Starting from August 1, Aram Gabrelyanov's News Media holding will no longer publish "Izvestia". The newspaper now has its own legal representative, office and CEO.
According to sources in the newspaper and holding, "Izvestia" are now officially separated from the holding.
The newspaper is part of the National Media Group, but since 2011 it was published by News Media (it also includes TV Channel 'Life', websites 'Super.ru' and 'Marker.ru').
