Kazakhstan and the United States have developed a project of military cooperation of the armed forces for 2016-2017. The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan noted that the document was the result of a three-day meeting of the working group of officer-coordinators of the armed forces of both countries.
The main areas in which the Kazakh-American relations in the military field will be developed in the next two years will be peacekeeping activities, assistance in the professionalization of the armed forces and military education," the ministry noted.
"Exchange of cadets of the military educational institutions of Kazakhstan and the United States is also in the future plans," TASS cites the report of the Defense Ministry of Kazakhstan.
