According to the CEC website, a schedule of activities for a referendum on amendments to the Constitution in Armenia has been published and approved by the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic.
The referendum is scheduled by decree of President Serzh Sargsyan for December 6th.
A draft constitution should be made public for public discussion by October 17th. The referendum campaign starts on October 12th and should be completed on December 4th. During this period television and radio stations, regardless of ownership, are obliged to provide airtime and set prices no later than October 19th. Polling stations will be formed by October 22nd, and lists of voters with the right to participate in the referendum are to be posted at polling stations on October 17th, RIA Novosti reports.
