Armenia and Georgia agree to hold intergovernmental commission meeting

Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili and his Armenian counterpart Nikol Pashinyan agreed to hold a meeting of the Georgia-Armenia interdepartmental commission in Yerevan in early 2023.

Questions of bilateral cooperation and regional importance were discussed on Wednesday in a phone conversation between the PMs.

The officials also stressed the importance of “improving the situation” in the South Caucasus region and taking appropriate steps for the objective, the government administration said.
