According to a statement from the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the visa application process between Armenia and Turkey will be simplified starting in January.

The decision was made under agreements previously reached by the special representatives of Armenia and Turkey for the normalization of bilateral relations.

The visa application process will apply to holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports from both countries.

"Holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports of both countries will be able to obtain electronic visas free of charge starting January 1, 2026",

Armenia's Foreign Ministry reported.

The Ministry added that Yerevan and Ankara have reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the normalization process, aiming for full normalization without preconditions.
