Coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 147 in the past 24 hours to 167,568, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.
"In the past twenty-four hours, 147 new coronavirus cases were identified. A total of 159, 045 patients recovered from the illness. Currently, 4,637 people are under treatment," the ministry said in a statement.
Eleven more coronavirus patients died in hospitals in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in the republic to 3,101 over the entire pandemic period, the statement says.
The Armenian government extended the coronavirus quarantine for another six months until July 11, 2021.
