Armenia confirms 307 new COVID-19 cases

Coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 307 in the past 24 hours to 165,528, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.

"In the past twenty-four hours, 307 new coronavirus cases were identified. A total of 154,046 patients recovered from the illness. Currently, 7,719 people are under treatment," the ministry said in a statement.

Six more coronavirus patients died in hospitals in the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of fatalities in the republic to 3,763 over the entire pandemic period, the statement says.

To reveal the COVID-19 cases, 630,604 tests have been carried out in Armenia.

The Armenian government extended the coronavirus quarantine for another six months until July 11, 2021.
