Armenia continues to mine Azerbaijani border

The engineering and sapper units of the Azerbaijani army are clearing the territories and supply routes, which were mined by the Armenian Armed Forces during the recent large-scale provocation against Azerbaijan.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, as a result of demining work carried out on the territory of the Lachin region, on September 18, 122 anti-personnel mines of the E-001 M type, produced in Armenia in 2021, were discovered in a gorge in the northeastern part of the Boyuk Ishigly mountain. All the mines were neutralized.

Currently, the necessary measures for the engineering support of the territories are ongoing.
