Armenia has been elected to the UN Human Rights Council (HRC) with 144 supporting votes, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said in a Twitter post, Public Radio of Armenia reported.
He expressed gratitude to all supporters, UN member states for the trust.
“Committed to working hard and cooperating with all our partners in promoting the human rights agenda,” the Foreign Minister added.
