Armenian air defense units have fired an Osa surface-to-air missile in the direction of Azerbaijan’s Khojavand and Fuzuli district on April 27, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense said.
The guided missile fell on an empty area controlled by the Azerbaijani army. During the inspection of the area, various parts of the outdated 9M33M2 missile were found in the area.
"The initial investigation revealed that the missiles available at the disposal of the Armenian army are obsolete and unsuitable for use," the ministry added.
