The prices on air tickets have skyrocketed groundless immediately after the last closing of the Georgian Military Highway - the only land route that connects the republic with Russia today. The investigation of the causes and development of the event has been initiated by the Ministry of Economy and the State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition of Armenia.
As stressed by the Minister of Economy, Artsvik Minasyan, the pricing problem in aviation must be regulated by the state. "I think that this issue should be discussed in the Ministry of Economy and the State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition. We have already initiated adiscussions on this issue ", Sputnik-Armenia quotes him as saying.
