Armenia to receive $2 million grant from Japan

Armenia is to receive a $2 million grant from the Government of Japan for socio-economic development of the country.

It is reported that the corresponding agreement was signed today by Japan's Ambassador to Armenia Eiji Taguchi and deputy head of the Emergency Situations Ministry Aykaram Mkhitaryan.

"The goal of the grant program is the allotment of goods produced in the zones damaged by the earthquake in Japan in 2011 to developing countries," ARKA reports.
