Armenia reports its readiness to make peace with Azerbaijan

The Armenian people are ready to establish peace with Azerbaijan. This statement was made by the Vice Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic Hakob Arshakyan.

He also said that the country's leadership was ready for this.

"The Armenian side has repeatedly stated this... The people of Armenia and the country's authorities are ready to establish peace",

 the National Assembly's Deputy Speaker said.

Let us remind you that Azerbaijan and Armenia held a meeting in Washington at the level of Foreign Ministers earlier this week. The US Secretary of State also took part in it. Following the negotiations, Baku and Yerevan announced progress in signing a peace agreement.
