The head of the Penitentiary Department of Armenia's Ministry of Justice Artur Osikyan was dismissed, the Armenian media reported.
According to the source, he will be appointed Deputy Chief of Armenian Police in the near future, 1in.am reported.
Osikyan's deputy Major-General Rafael Hovhannisyan will replace him as head of the Department.
