Armenia's Syunik province was hit by the magnitude-3 earthquake at 7:59am local time, according to the 'Survey for Seismic Protection' Agency of Armenia.
The seismic activity occurred 9km northeast of Kajaran town, its hypocenter was 10km beneath the surface, and it measured magnitude 3 at the epicenter.
According to preliminary information, the tremor was felt in Lernadzor village of Syunik Province, with magnitude 2 to 3, News.am reported.
