According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, the positions of the Azerbaijani troops came under fire in the direction of Nakhchivan.
"On June 14 at 07:15, units of the Armenian Armed Forces from positions located in the direction of Khachik settlement of Soylan region using small arms subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the direction of Akhura settlement of Sharur region of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic",
the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan said.
The Ministry noted that retaliatory measures had been taken in this direction.
