Embassy of Armenia to Georgia is fully aware of the dispute between Armenian and Georgia youth, as well as the subsequent actions of the local police, which took place on the night of April 23rd and the morning of April 24th in Akhaltsikhe. The Embassy has already contacted with the relevant authorities of Georgia to have complete information about the incident, Armenpress reports.
As the Embassy reported, it contacted the local authorities and the appropriate steps were conducted to solve the issue. There are no detainees at the moment.
Armenian Ambassador Yuri Vardanyan is plannin to visit Javakheti where he will hold meetings with representatives of the Armenian community, as well as the local authorities.
