Armenian Defense Minister meets with Deputy Assistant of NATO Secretary General

Issues of cooperation between Armenia and NATO were discussed at the meeting, which was held today in Yerevan, by Armenia's Defense Minister, Seyran Ohanyan, and Deputy Assistant of the Secretary General of NATO for defense policy and planning, Jonathan Parish.

Ohanyan stressed the importance of cooperation with NATO that "contributes to the implementation of Armenia's commitments in ensuring international security and conduction of reforms in the defense sector."

In turn, Parish praised the participation of Armenian troops in peacekeeping missions of NATO, RIA Novosti reported.
