The head of the Armenian Ministry of Defense held a number of meetings as part of his working visit to Brussels. Suren Papikyan held negotiations with the Chairman of the Military Committee of the European Union. The program of the visit included conversations with representatives of European diplomacy.
Cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in the field of defense became the key topic of the meeting between Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan and the Chairman of the EU Military Committee. During the conversation, which was organized within the framework of the Schuman Security and Defense Forum 2024, Papikyan and Brieger agreed to develop bilateral cooperation.
In addition, Papikyan told the EU representative about the progress in reforming of the Armenian Armed Forces.
The agenda of the meeting also included various aspects of regional security.
