Armenian MP specifies number of deserters in Karabakh war

The number of servicemen who deserted from the Armenian army in the Second Karabakh war is perhaps more than 11,000, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly Andranik Kocharyan said, commenting on the statement of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s wife Anna Akopyan.

"There was rapid partial mobilization, and not everyone reached their destination. And for those who did, it was not possible to gather everyone together. We have thousands of criminal cases in this regard. The issue is now being investigated," Andranik Kocharyan said.
