Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan held a telephone conversation with the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev today, the press service of the Armenian government said.
Karapetyan praised Medvedev's personal contribution to the development of allied relations between Armenia and Russia, which are based on friendship of the two peoples.
Armenian Prime Minister stressed the importance of active cooperation between the governments of Armenia and Russia and deepening bilateral economic and trade relations to strengthen the Armenian-Russian relations both in bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the framework of the EEU, ARKA reports.
Karapetyan thanked Medvedev for his congratulations on his appointment as the Prime Minister of Armenia and congratulated his Russian colleague on his birthday.
