Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan told reporters on Sunday that, if necessary, he is ready to sacrifice his property for the needs of the army and the state."If need be, I am ready to do so, but our government has no financial problems for the arming the armed forces," he said.
Abrahamyan said also the government is not engaged in protectionism."I want to say that the government does not patronize anyone. No one is allowed not to pay taxes. If we reveal such cases, the perpetrators will be held accountable," Abrahamyan said.
"I have not heard allegations, including from journalists, that the prime minister enjoys a monopoly or that he made his fortune illegally. If an individual or a political force declares this and presents evidence I am ready to be held accountable,’ he said.
