Two employees from Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) have been detained on suspicion of accepting a bribe, the country's Anti-Corruption Committee reported.

The SRC employees were detained during operational and investigative activities and covert investigations. Law enforcement officers caught them red-handed, immediately after accepting a bribe from a representative of a business entity, the committee noted, according to Sputnik Armenia.

A criminal case has been initiated against the SRC officers, who are accused of accepting 9 million drams for unlawful services.
