A group of Armenian activists staged a protest in front of the Russian embassy demanding the release of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko on March 8.
Famous film director Tigran Khzmalyan was among the protesters. According to him, Russia has no right to judge Savchenko, as the crime occurred on the territory of Ukraine.
Nadezhda Savchenko is accused of involvement in the murder of two Russian journalists Igor Korneliuk and Anton Voloshin, as well as illegally crossing the border with Russia, Armenia Today reports.
