Today, the Acting Armenian Foreign Minister, Edward Nalbandian, met with the Foreign Minister of Syria, Walid Mualem, during his working visit to New York, the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry reports.
The report reads that during the meeting the sides exchanged views on the international efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis.
The Armenian Foreign Minister expressed hope that the implementation of the recent agreement on the settlement of the Syrian crisis will invariably pave the way for the start of the comprehensive negotiations for a peaceful settlement of the crisis.
