An attempt to smuggle drugs from Iran to Armenia was prevented at the Meghri border customs checkpoint, the press service of Armenia's State Revenue Committee (SRC) reported.
The SRC officers at the Meghri border customs checkpoint inspected the luggage of an Armenian citizen who had arrived from Iran.
As a result, they found about 49.5 grams of a marijuana-like substance, as well as about 0.3 grams of a methamphetamine-like substance in the luggage, News.am reported.
