According to a MPG/Gallup International Аssociation opinion poll conducted in Armenia, 57.5% of those surveyed favored integration with the European Union, with 32.8% being against.
"Compared to the data of the previous poll, which was conducted in February, the number of supporters of Armenia's membership in the CSTO has decreased by 10%, while the number of supporters of NATO membership has increased by 7%," director of the Armenian office of the Gallup International Research Center Aram Navasardian said.
According to 44.3% of those polled, Armenia should be a neutral country and not be a member of the CSTO or NATO, 16.9% believe that Armenia should continue its membership in the CSTO, and 29% believe that Armenia should strive for NATO membership.
Moreover, 15.2% of respondents believe that Armenia is definitely moving in the right direction, 10.6% - rather in the right direction, 51.6% - in the wrong direction.
The poll was conducted by telephone on July 3-6 among 1,100 respondents.
