Today the project of the construction program of the Armenian nuclear power plant with the participation of Russia was removed from the agenda of the meeting of the Armenian government and sent back for revision, Energy Minister Yervand Zakharyan said.
The project has already been adjusted: first of all, the estimate of $5 billion for the construction of a new nuclear power plant unit was removed. It was noted that "the project cost would depend on the type and capacity of the new unit, as well as the characteristics of the investment agreement," RIA Novosti reports.
