Illegal Armenian armed formations fired small arms at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the settlements of Khidirly and Chukhurmahla of the Aghdam region and the deployment point. This is stated in a report published on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The department noted that the Armenian armed groups carried out shelling from the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers were temporarily stationed. The attack was recorded on March 6 at 08:40 local time.
As a result of retaliatory measures taken by the Azerbaijani military, the enemy was suppressed.
The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the Joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center were immediately informed of the incident.
