Last evening, the positions of the Azerbaijani army were shelled in the Aghdam, Khojavend and Khojaly directions, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reports.
According to the department, the shelling was carried out on March 11 from 17:00 to 21:00 local time. "Members of an illegal Armenian armed group on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, intermittently shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army in the Aghdam, Khojavend and Khojaly directions with various weapons," the report reads.
The Azerbaijani military took adequate response measures aiming only at the positions of the militants.
