The foundation of every state is the education of its citizens, said Armenian parliament speaker Ararat Mirzoyan on Friday, News.am reports.
According to him, such an approach should form new generations of citizens.
It is education that should serve as the engine of the development agenda of Armenia, which will not only keep up with the times, but also take a step forward, he said.
He listed the problems and challenges that the country faces on the path to achieving these goals.
The education system in Armenia should never serve the interests of parties and the current government, he said addinf that in the educational system of Armenia, pressure and independent thinking should not be suppressed.
According to him, it is necessary to reject the manifestations of any kind of corruption - from nepotism to bribe.
