According to the Armenian police report, the Armenian law enforcement authorities fulfilled the request of the Turkish branch of Interpol to capture the criminal.
A Georgian citizen, arrested in absentia and put on the international wanted list by Turkey 6.5 years ago, was taken at Zvartnots airport while trying to fly from Yerevan to Bucharest the night before.
The detainee is accused by the Turkish side of theft and property damage. The police of Armenia reported his arrest to the local Interpol bureau.
