Armenian police search for governor advisor

The advisor of Armavir Governor Manuk Simonyan went missing on July 23.

"Last time he was seen at work on Friday," the head of the apparatus of the regional administration Parandzem Karapetyan said. "Manuk is a very calm and non-conflicting person," Sputnik-Armenia cited her as saying.

Information about the disappearance of Simonyan was received on July 23, the head of the police department for media relations Edgar Janoyan said.

"At the moment, the search is underway, but so far in vain," he noted.
