The police are trying to remove the garbage cans used by protesters as barricades, who are protesting against the increase in electricity tariffs on the Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan. But the protesters are ignoring the advice.
"Sanitec company claimed that their garbage cans have been misappropriated, moved and damaged," TASS cited Police Colonel Arsen Ayvazyan as saying.
The deputy head of Yerevan’s police, Valery Osipyan, urged the protesters not to hamper the investigative actions.
