Baku is a large, modern and beautiful city, Polish gymnast Artur Zakrzewski stated today after his performance at the Trampolining World Cup in Baku. Today, Zakrzewski received the award for the best performance from the Gymnastics Federation of Azerbaijan.
"I am here for the first time, I've only been at the hotel and in the arena, but I will definitely go for sightseeing today. I think that Baku is a great modern city, more modern than Polish cities," he said.
Zakrzewski thanked the organizers for the high level of conduction of the tournament. "Baku has a very good organization of competitions, I think this is the best tournament I have participated in," the gymnast praised.
The athlete is also pleased with his results. "Eighteen months ago, I had one of the worst performances from Poland, but now I'm one of the best. This is my first final in international competition, and I am very happy about it. As I recall, this is the first final for Poland in the individual program since 1989, or something like that, so I'm proud of myself. Of course, I'm not happy that I made a mistake in the final, but I am satisfied with everything else," Arthur Zakrzewski concluded.
