Syrian President Bashar Assad said that a political solution to the Syrian crisis does not exist.
"Talk about a political solution to the Syrian crisis is empty and meaningless. This is a critical period, there are no compromise solutions," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
"I do not see a political solution to the civil war in Syria before terrorism is defeated," Bloomberg agency cites Assad as saying.
The Syrian president also noted that he supports any political dialogue, even if it has a minimal impact on the resolution of the crisis.
According to him, states that support militant groups have increased their support in recent years. At the same time, he praised the "support of his government in the UN Security Council by Russia and China."
