Today, former US President Donald Trump was assassinated during one of his speeches to supporters in Pennsylvania. A 20-year-old killer shot at Trump from the roof of a nearby building with a sniper rifle, hitting him in the ear. Trump fell, and the security guards covered him with their bodies.

The shooting continued, killing one of the Republican Party supporters who was at the meeting with Trump and seriously wounding two more people. The gunman was killed by return fire from the special services.

Donald Trump was immediately hospitalized. According to doctors, his life is not in danger. The bullet, damaging his ear, did not touch his skull. Shortly after his hospitalization, Trump addressed the public with a statement that he was injured but, generally, he was fine. He also expressed condolences to the loved ones of the man killed by the killer.

"It's unbelievable that something like this could happen in our country. I was hit by a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I immediately knew that something was wrong, as I heard a whizzling sound, shots and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. There was heavy bleeding, and then I realized what was happening",

Donald Trump said.

Little is known about the shooter yet. Officials claim that he was not associated with any foreign countries, and most likely the killer acted alone. Intelligence agencies admitted that they had no information even about the possibility of any threat to Trump in Pennsylvania.

The attack on Donald Trump was immediately condemned by President Joseph Biden. Billionaire Elon Musk openly supported Trump and said that the head of the US Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, shoukd resign. In general, all US officials and politicians from the Republican and Democratic parties condemned the attempted assassination on the presidential candidate and called on US citizens to unite against violence.

Many Western and Eastern leaders also condemned the attack on Donald Trump.
