The sixth round of negotiations on the settlement of the Syrian crisis - Astana-6 -began today in the capital of Kazakhstan with the meetings of working groups of the countries-guarantors of the truce in Syria.
The main topic of the negotiations is a creation of the fourth de-escalation zone in Idlib and fixation of an armistice in the already active zones. The meetings are held behind closed doors.
The first meetings will be held in bilateral formats, then the UN representatives will join the negotiators.
