Astana is not going to refuse to cooperate with Russia in the space sphere after the opening of the Vostochny cosmodrome, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev stated.
"If we didn’t have Baikonur we would not have such confidential and friendly relations with Russia, our compatriots would not fly into space. Now Kazakhstan cannot produce rockets, maintain the cosmodrome and train personnel. However, we aspire to do it," Interfax cites Nazarbayev.
