The decree of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the renaming of the capital of the republic from Nur-Sultan to Astana came into force on Monday.
The replacement of road signs has started. In total, 467 information panels are planned to be replaced along the highways of republican significance. "To date, about 100 information panels have been dismantled, work on replacement continues," the press service of KazAvtoZhol informs.
Funds for the replacement of signs associated with the renaming of the capital of Kazakhstan are taken from the annually allocated budget for the maintenance of roads of national importance.
