The Armenian people succeeded in unpredictable and unprecedented revolution - without any violence, victims or public disorder, Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said, addressing the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
"From the very beginning we declared that we ruled out any violence. We declared that even if violence was used against us, we would not respond with violence. We declared that our response would be with raised and open hands, smile and love," Sputnik Armenia cited Pashinyan as saying.
He noted that the current situation in Armenia is not just a change of government or of the ruling party.
Reflecting on the present-day political Situation in Armenia, the PM said that a completely new political culture has established in the country.
Pashinyan added that Armenia is preparing for a snap parliamentary election with that same spirit.
