Iran needs to build nine new nuclear reactors in the next ten years, the official representative of the Iranian Nuclear Power Organization, Behruz Kamalvandi, said.
"The country needs to build 9 nuclear power reactors in the next 10 years, given that in 2025 it should generate at least 100 thousand megawatts of electricity," IRNA cited him as saying.
Kamalvandi also stressed that 8-12% of the country’s electricity should be generated through atomic power plants.
