Australian team: FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku organized as best as possible

The Australian delegation, which arrived in Baku to participate in the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, speaking with the correspondents of Vestnik Kavkaza, positively assessed the level of organization of the competitions.

Artistic gymnast Georgia-Rose Brown stressed the high level of work of the organizers. "They treat us very kindly, everyone act together, and it is very important for the competitions. I like everything here - apparatus are excellent, the arena is wonderful. It is my first time in Baku and am delighted with what I see," she confessed.

The coach of the Australian national team in artistic gymnastics Mikhail Barabash said that he could not have imagined such a qualitative organization of the tournament. "We arrived here two and a half days ago, and I can say that we couldn't ask for more. Everything was organized very well, the hotel is excellent, we have a separate transport to the arena, the food is good. And both training and competitive halls are the best," he said.

According to Mikhail Barabash, the Australian national team arrived to the World Cup in Baku in a mixed composition. "We have experienced gymnasts who have already performed at the Olympic Games, like Emily Little. There are also young gymnasts who do not have much experience in international competitions. Their task is to at least get into the final part of the competition. We hope for good results," the coach said.

The FIG Artistic Gymnastics Individual Apparatus World Cup will be held in Baku on March 16-19. Athletes from 23 countries will compete for 10 medal sets.
