Austria defeated North Macedonia 3-1 in its opening match of the UEFA Euro Cup in Bucharest on Sunday.
Goals of the winning team were scored by Stefan Lainer in the 18th minute, Michael Gregoritsch (78) and Marko Arnautovic (90), the goal by their opponents was scored by Goran Pandev (28).
Austria’s national team garnered three scores and topped Group C, which also includes the Netherlands and Ukraine who will meet on Sunday at 22:00 Moscow time. On June 17, Austria will play against the Netherlands in Amsterdam, while North Macedonia will play against Ukraine in Bucharest.
