The Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Rihard Schenz, stated today that representatives of Austrian business circles got acquainted with the possibilities of conducting business in Stavropol Territory and opposed the sanctions imposed against Russia.
He also noted the harm created by the sanctions to the global economy. "Austria is part of the European Union, which is under political pressure right now, but visits by the business community to Russia prove that we are against sanctions. In our view, sanctions worsen the economic situation in the world, and a conglomeration of Russian regions and countries of Europe can provide a good mutually beneficial result," RIA Novosti quotes Schenz as saying.
